Connector compatibility
The connectors your Tesla can use natively are on by default; adapter-only stations (CCS, CHAdeMO) are opt-in. Defaults auto-tune to your region — NACS in North America, CCS2 in Europe and Australia/NZ — so you don't wade through plugs you can't use.

Show or hide any network. Want only Superchargers plus one you have an account with? Toggle the rest off. Want the whole picture? Turn them all on (Premium).

The plug your Tesla uses depends on where you bought it. North America runs on NACS with CCS1 via adapter; Europe and Australia/New Zealand run on CCS2 and Type 2. codriver sets the right compatibility defaults for your region so the map starts useful — no manual setup. EV drivers ask
Which charging networks does codriver show?
Effectively all of them. The charger layer is powered by Open Charge Map, a community-maintained global database, so beyond Tesla Superchargers and Destination chargers you get the major third-party networks in your region — Electrify America, ChargePoint, EVgo and Flo in North America; IONITY, Fastned, Shell Recharge and Allego in Europe; Chargefox, Evie Networks, Ampol AmpCharge and ChargeNet across Australia and New Zealand — plus the long tail of independents.
Does it work outside the United States?
Yes. codriver's charger data is global via Open Charge Map, and the app is built around three markets today — North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand. Connector defaults follow the region automatically: NACS-first in North America, CCS2-first in Europe and Australia/NZ, with legacy plugs like CHAdeMO available as an opt-in.
What's free versus Premium?
The free tier shows Tesla's own network plus one extra network of your choice — enough to cover most day-to-day charging. Premium removes the cap: every network on the map at once, in parallel, however many you want. Both tiers get all four filters (connector, network, cost, power).
Where does the charger data come from?
Open Charge Map — an open, community-maintained registry of public charging stations used across the EV world. It's the same reason the layer isn't locked to any single network's API: no upstream can quietly cut off coverage, and community edits keep it fresh.
Does codriver show charger reliability or how busy a station is?
Not yet — and we won't pretend it does. Today the layer is about finding and filtering the right stations for your car. Live reliability, queue/occupancy intel, and EV-aware route notes from driver reports are on the roadmap, not shipped. We'd rather ship them properly than fake them.
How do I turn networks on and filter them on the Tesla screen?
It's a few taps in the charger layer — open the layer, add networks beyond Tesla, then narrow by connector, cost and power. There's a full walkthrough in the guide: How to show and filter third-party charging networks.
