What happens after I join the waitlist?
Your account is ready right away. Driving access opens in waves, or an existing member can fast-track you with an earned recon pass. Founder Series members get immediate access.
Do I need to install anything?
No. codriver runs in your Tesla’s web browser. Once your account has access, scan the QR code on the car’s screen with your phone to pair it.

Does this replace Tesla’s navigation?
codriver is a companion. Keep Tesla’s navigation for your drive and open codriver in the browser for road alerts, charging networks, and your preferred map view.
Will it work in my Tesla?
codriver supports the Tesla browser on Intel Atom (MCU 2) and AMD Ryzen (MCU 3) computers. MCU 1 is untested. Your car needs a working browser and an internet connection.
Where do the reports come from?
The map combines reports from codriver drivers with the data layers you enable. Charger locations include Open Charge Map data. Coverage depends on your area and the source; a clear map does not guarantee a clear road.

Where can I manage my plan?
Your account shows your current plan, renewal information and referral credits. If you have a paid Stripe subscription, use Manage billing in the Plan section to open your billing portal. For billing questions, contact the codriver team through Support.
